ABSTRACT

Dowlathabad MR,  Venkata RD, Rallapalli Acyl carrier protein synthetase from Treponema pallidum, Onl J Bioinform.,
27 (2) :53-60, 2026. We describe 3D model and structure for ACP synthetase of Treponema pallidum is described with the aim of designing appropriate inhibitor(s) against  this synthetase of Treponema pallidum.  The Holo (Acyl carrier Protein) synthetase ( acpS ) sequence of Treponema palladium (O83800) was fetched from SWISS PROT database. A simple BLASTp searching method [7] was carried out against Protein data bank [8]. The resultant of BLAST search identified structure template Bacillus sublitis  (PDB: 1F 80 chain) with 40 percent identity and the expected value is 4.1e-14.

Key words: Troponema pallidum, Homology modeling, Holo (Acyl carrier protein) Synthetase.
