S M K, Thangaraju P., Genetic structure of goat microsatellite markers, Onl J Bioinform., 26 (2) :63-69, 2025. Tellicherry goats were
characterized by FAO recommended microsatellite markers. All 21 loci were
highly polymorphic with PIC values ranging from 0.5785 to 0.8349. Significant
differences (P<0.01) were noticed between observed and expected proportions
of genotypes at 14 loci in the goat population studied. The highest expected heterozygosity
value was 0.8504 and lowest was 0.6445 in this breed.
