ABSTRACT

Marla S , Yalamanchili HK,  Gelli P, Singh HK, Praveen G, Ghatta G, Srikanth S, Goutham K Chorismate synthase from Helicobacter pyroli and Prevotella rumnicola, Onl J Bioinform, 27 (2) : 47 - 52, 2026. We report structures of chorismate synthase from H. pyroli and P. rumnicola essential for shikomate pathway in bacteria, fungi and plants, but not mammals.  We compare structure of H. pyroli and P. rumnicola by alpha and beta fold patterns, FMN binding and chain configuration residues which yielded binding sites we also report phylogeny of these organisms.

Key words: Chorismate synthase, flavin mononucleotide, Binding sites, Helicobacter pyroli, Prevotella rumnicola.
